The firm’s practice focuses on insurance coverage, litigation, construction, and maritime law, providing attorneys with the opportunity to handle complex matters and work with a diverse range of clients.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense litigation matters
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in matters involving commercial transportation, premises liability, and construction defects
- Develop case strategy and work closely with clients, claims professionals, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and provide thoughtful, practical legal analysis
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
- 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong background in commercial transportation, premises liability, construction defect, or related insurance defense matters
- Proven ability to independently manage litigation files and deadlines
- Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
- Active Texas Bar license
- Trial experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment
- 100% Remote – Work from anywhere in Texas
