Job Description: Office and Operations Manager
The Office and Operations Manager will oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficient shop functioning, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The role includes handling administrative tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The manager will also communicate with headquarters, identify local business opportunities, and contribute to a positive, customer-focused atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, including opening, closing, and inventory control.
- Serve customers, handle inbound calls, and follow health and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure the shop is a preferred destination for drilling rig needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and administrative standards.
- Identify and report local business opportunities.
- Use IT equipment for daily tasks and maintain the premises in optimal condition.
- Assist with store duties, including housekeeping, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
- Effectively multitask and work well under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Previous office management or customer service experience.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Forklift license required.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and cleanliness standards.
