Job Description
VP of Finance Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, and forecasting.
- Oversee budgeting, financial modeling, and long-range financial plans.
- Manage and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions.
- Serve as primary point of contact for credit facilities, lines of credit, and loan agreements.
- Negotiate bank terms, fees, and credit arrangements to optimize cost of capital.
- Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
- Oversee accounting, tax, audit, treasury, and financial controls.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure compliance and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Making recommendations to business stakeholders.
VP of Finance Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in a financial leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required.
- Strategic financial leadership.
- Financial modeling and forecasting.
- Risk management and internal controls.
- Business partnering and executive communication.
- Data-driven decision-making.
- Change management and scalability mindset.
