Job Description
Treasurer - Treasurer manages day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management. Ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements.
Cash Management
Monitor daily cash flow and maintain cash balance reports.
Perform periodic cash reconciliations and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Working Capital Monitoring
Track and analyze working capital components, ensuring the optimal utilization of resources.
Assist in inventory and accounts receivable management.
Cash Concentration
Assist in cash concentration and disbursement activities to optimize cash handling across multiple bank accounts and trading portfolios.
Investment Management
Support the Treasury Manager in managing short-term and long-term investments, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial strategy.
Credit Issuance
Assist in issuing Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees and manage their lifecycles in collaboration with trading desks and banking partners.
Risk Management
Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, including forex and interest rate exposures, and assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Credit Rating Management
Maintain and monitor the company’s credit rating through regular liaison with credit agencies and internal stakeholders.
Bank Relations
Build and maintain strong working relationships with bank representatives; manage bank accounts, fees, and other treasury-related matters.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and present treasury reports, including cash forecasts, working capital reports, and risk assessment analyses.
Financial Strategy
Support the Treasury Manager and senior management in formulating and implementing the company's financial strategy.
