Tax Associate
Job Description
Tax Associate Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of tax-related schedules and analyses, including book-to-tax reconciliations, state tax analysis, trust tax return attributes, interest tracing, and distributable net income calculations.

Support the calculation and documentation of quarterly estimated tax payments, use tax, and business income matters.

Assist with the tracking, review, and reporting of Forms K-1 and other related forms for multiple taxpayers.

Prepare Forms 1099 by compiling required data, performing vendor analysis, and supporting accurate information reporting.

Maintain tax preparation fee schedules and provide related analysis and reporting as requested.

Prepare miscellaneous tax and administrative forms.

Prepare other reports and projects as requested and perform other duties as may be assigned.
Tax Associate Qualifications:

BA/BS in Accounting.

1-3 years of experience in a tax related role.

Public accounting tax experience preferred.

Strong technical and analytical skills.

Understands and can effectively utilize tax preparation software.

Ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of priority in a clear and concise manner.

Strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel knowledge and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Perform effectively in a team environment.
