Job Description
Our client located in The Woodlands is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join their team. This opportunity will be in Texas and out-of-state working at project sites as the onsite Project Manager.
Job Summary:
- Supervise a team of workers or subcontractors to monitor work schedules, project progress, and completion
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, suppliers, city, and county
- Work closely with various team throughout the life cycle of the project
- Navigate website and accurately input information using computer or tablet
- Manage the operation to meet deadlines and ensure compliance to safety, health, and quality standards
- Maintain a daily log for the site operations and report any issues
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers the delivery of materials and equipment
- Execute project schedules for workers and subcontractors
- Implement cost-effective and sufficient techniques
- A minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with 2 years of construction management experience
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field, but not required
- Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
- Strong understanding of safety practices and maintenance issues
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
- Effective leadership abilities including conflict management
