Staff Accountant Opening! 

A great manufacturing company in Stafford, Texas is searching for a Staff Accountant.  Responsibilities:
  • Journal entries including payroll; reconcile GL accounts, fixed asset management.
  • GL account reconciliation
  • Month-end and Year-end Financial reporting and analyzing
  • Assist with Annual Audits
  • Back-up for Accounts Receivable duties including all Invoicing/ Manual invoicing/ Error adjustments; clean-up AR Aging report, customer interaction.
  • Back-up for Accounts Payable and other accounting functions as assigned by the Controller.
  • Bank reconciliation, cash flow reporting.
  • Assist with research and other special accounting projects (i.e. internal controls, documenting procedures, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in Accounting in a manufacturing environment, strong AR experience
  • Accounting software experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Customer friendly
  • Strong MS Excel, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Federal & State Tax reporting (various states) a plus.
