Senior Supply Chain Specialist – Technology Procurement | Houston
I'm partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Technology Procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and vendor management for enterprise technology solutions.
This is a highly visible role working closely with IT, Supply Chain, Legal, and business leaders to drive sourcing strategy, negotiate complex technology agreements, and optimize vendor performance.
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end procurement for software, hardware, SaaS, subscriptions, and technology services
- Negotiate contracts, renewals, pricing, and licensing agreements
- Manage supplier relationships and drive vendor performance
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and technology roadmaps
- Oversee contract lifecycle management and coordinate legal reviews
- Identify cost savings, mitigate risk, and improve procurement processes
- Track sourcing initiatives, contract milestones, and realized savings
- Stay current on emerging technologies, licensing models, and procurement best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
- Strong background in technology procurement
- Experience negotiating complex software, SaaS, hardware, and subscription agreements
- Strong contract management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, Icertis, or similar procurement platforms is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Energy industry or other complex corporate procurement experience is highly desirable
