About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 & Business Applications Analyst to join a growing Information Systems team supporting enterprise-wide business applications and digital transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dynamics professional to play a key role in the continued adoption and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across finance, supply chain, inventory, and business operations.
The ideal candidate will serve as a primary technical owner and support resource for Dynamics 365, partnering closely with developers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Position Details
- Title: Senior Dynamics 365 & Business Applications Analyst
- Department: Information Systems
- Location: Houston, TX (Energy Corridor)
- Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 base salary
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
- Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite. Potential work-from-home flexibility on Fridays following an initial onboarding period based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead support and configuration resource for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with developers on solution design and implementation.
- Configure and maintain workflows, approvals, security roles, and permissions within Dynamics 365.
- Support system integrations between Dynamics 365 and related applications, portals, and business systems.
- Lead and participate in testing efforts, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and deployment activities.
- Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation for system changes, business processes, and application enhancements.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing support to business users.
- Assist with implementation projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and/or Dynamics AX.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring Dynamics 365 applications.
- Experience with Dynamics AX 2012.
- Knowledge of workflows, approvals, security roles, and business process management.
- Experience supporting integration and collaborating directly with development teams.
- Strong documentation, testing, and implementation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, chemicals, industrial operations, or related industries.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
