Senior Billing Specialist (Houston – Hybrid)
? Houston, TX | ? Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
? Salary: $80,000 – $92,000
? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Billing Specialist to join a high-performing Revenue team within a leading international law firm. This role will be based in Houston and offers a hybrid work model. If you have strong law firm billing experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring expertise in Aderant and e-billing, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll report directly to the Revenue Manager and work closely with attorneys and finance professionals across multiple offices to manage complex billing processes, ensure compliance with client guidelines, and help drive billing efficiency and accuracy.
? What You’ll Do

  • Manage full-cycle billing for a designated portfolio, including complex client arrangements and high-volume invoice processing.

  • Coordinate e-billing through Aderant and BillBlast, ensuring clean submissions and resolving rejections or disputes promptly.

  • Partner closely with attorneys to prepare, audit, and finalize monthly prebills; ensure compliance with rate structures and client formats.

  • Support AR efforts by working with Collections staff, preparing write-offs, and meeting with partners to review WIP and AR inventory.

  • Maintain billing documentation, track performance metrics, and assist in onboarding and training new billing staff.
✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of law firm billing experience (required)

  • Proficiency in Aderant and e-billing platforms

  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and meet critical deadlines

  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys and managing high invoice volumes is a plus
? Team Structure

  • You’ll join a Houston-based billing team alongside one other team member, collaborating with an additional 7 billing professionals located outside of Houston.
