Job Description

Senior Accountant- Houston, TX 77046 Responsibilities: Accounts Receivables
  • Ensure all AR invoices are paid and recorded in QuickBooks.
  • Manage accounts receivable aging.
  • Assist with resolving invoice disputes.
  • Manage hours and invoices for NetApp (weekly hours and monthly invoices).
  • Oversee expense reimbursement processes.
Bullhorn/BBO
  • Approve all change requests and placements in Bullhorn.
  • Ensure accurate Bullhorn data (work orders, bill rates, pay rates, start dates, commission percentages) to maintain consistency with daily scorecard stats.
  • Verify Bullhorn and BBO are syncing and data is accurate daily.
  • Assist with timecard management as needed.
  • Approve BBO placements for future starts.
Month-End Responsibilities
  • Create and review the month-end file with the team before sending it to sales.
  • Review month-end sessions with the Accounting team and ensure accuracy before communicating with the sales team.
  • Post journal entries for prepaid expenses and other necessary month-end entries.
  • Analyze financials to identify spending trends.
  • Calculate and communicate commissions to Sales and Recruiting by the second payroll each month.
  • Calculate and communicate bonuses to the Back Office quarterly (post monthly journal entries to accrue).
  • Audit credit card spending and report findings to the CFO as needed.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts.
  • Ensure the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet are accurate for the month.
  • Oversee account 1401 to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure month-end deadlines are met.
Forecasting
  • Collaborate with P&C for PTO files bi-weekly to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Create and communicate a daily scorecard to the team.
  • Work with sales to ensure the forecast is accurate.
  • Update jobs on the red zone board daily.
  • Review all MSAs with the CFO for new customers to ensure compliance.
  • Create SOWs or Work Orders, assisting customers with templates as needed.
  • Register new information for customer portals upon signing MSAs.
  • Maintain accurate data within multiple customer portals.
  • Assist the CFO with identifying the yearly budget by gathering information from the prior year and accounting for upcoming financial trends.
  • Create customer and class entries in QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate with AP to ensure payroll codes are accurate.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Staffing, consulting, or professional services industry experience
  • Software experience similar to Bullhorn or QuickBooks
  • 5+ years experience
