Senior Accountant - Construction Industry!

Job Description

We are representing a company in the construction sector to help them hire a Senior Accountant. This will be a direct hire opening, onsite role in Spring Branch (77055), that offers full benefits. Experience in the construction industry, along with AIA and percentage of completion is strongly preferred.

 Senior Accountant Duties:
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process
  • Record and track assets including additions, transfers and disposals and generate assets roll-forward schedules
  • Perform income statement variance analysis
  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts
Senior Accountant Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or actively working towards a bachelor's degree 
  • Experience in accounting
  • Construction industry is a plus
  • Familiar with WIP and Pay application billing
