Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join their propane distribution company. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with businesses that use propane-powered forklifts and other cylinder-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience, knowledge of industrial operations, and a passion for helping clients streamline their fuel supply.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, target, and acquire new business accounts that utilize propane forklift cylinders.
· Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to increase sales volume and service satisfaction.
· Conduct on-site evaluations and needs assessments to recommend appropriate propane delivery solutions.
· Negotiate contracts and service agreements tailored to customer operations.
· Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery service.
· Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
· Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions as needed.
Qualifications:
· 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial, energy, or logistics sectors.
· Experience selling propane or similar services is a strong advantage.
· Understanding of propane applications in material handling (e.g., forklifts, warehouses).
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to manage territory independently.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
