Recruiting Coordinator
Salary: $80-100k base salary + bonus Hybrid schedule possible

Job Overview: Responsible for identifying and attracting top legal talent to meet the firm's staffing needs. This role plays a crucial part in the growth and success of the law firm by ensuring that it has the right legal professionals in place to serve its clients effectively. The recruiter works closely with the firm's HR department and legal leadership to understand staffing requirements, source potential candidates, and manage the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing: Identify, source, and attract highly qualified legal professionals, including attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, and support staff. Utilize various recruiting channels such as job boards, social media, legal associations, and professional networks to find potential candidates. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for the law firm's needs. Coordinate and conduct interviews, including both initial and panel interviews. Assess candidates' legal skills, knowledge, experience, and cultural fit with the law firm.
Collaboration with Legal Leadership: Work closely with law firm partners, attorneys, and practice group leaders to understand their staffing requirements and preferences. Ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and the firm's strategic goals.
Selection and Offer Process: Facilitate the selection process, coordinating interviews, reference checks, and background investigations as needed. Extend job offers to successful candidates, negotiate terms, and address any concerns or questions. Manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Applicant Tracking and Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of candidates' information, interview notes, and feedback. Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and the recruitment process.
Compliance and Diversity: Stay informed about legal requirements and industry best practices for recruitment and hiring within the legal field. Promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process and help the firm meet diversity goals.
Reporting and Metrics: Generate and analyze recruitment reports to measure the effectiveness of the recruitment process and identify areas for improvement. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within a law firm or legal setting. Strong understanding of the legal industry, its roles, and hiring requirements. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong negotiation and organizational abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
