Location: El Paso, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay rate: $15/hr.
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Receiver / Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in staying organized, we'd love to hear from you!
This position plays a key role in receiving inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels, pulling sales orders, assisting customers, and ensuring our warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and quantity.
- Verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Enter receiving information into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Label, sort, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Process receiving paperwork, including packing slips and invoices.
- Report shipment discrepancies or damaged merchandise.
- Pull and stage customer sales orders accurately.
- Keep the sales order area organized to prevent duplicate pulls.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock and warehouse.
- Operate the cardboard baler and dispose of recyclable materials properly.
- Assist customers in the showroom, including loading purchases.
- Make local deliveries when needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
