Personal Injury Settlement Coordinator - Houston Galleria Area A prestigious plaintiff personal injury law firm located in the Galleria is seeking a Settlement Coordinator to join their firm. This firm offers an outstanding work culture, great benefits, and paid parking. This position also offers a generous sign-on bonus.  Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with processing settlements for personal injury firms and processing and handling medical expense reductions.

Job duties include:



· Utilizing Neos Case Management Software and Quickbooks

· Working with Office Manager to ensure settlement checks are properly deposited in the Firm’s Trust Account according to the terms of the settlement

· Reviewing Medical Records, confirming balances due, and negotiating reductions with medical providers

· Contacting clients to discuss settlement disbursement and signing of release and settlement documents

· Sending drafting instructions to adjusters or opposing counsel

· Identifying and verifying amount of outstanding medical expenses and liens and negotiating reductions

· Issuing settlement distribution instructions to Office Manager with all supporting documents so payment is issued to medical providers, lien holders and client

· Confirming all case expenses and attorney’s fees are accounted for in the Firm’s case management system
