PI Pre-Litigation Attorney
Job Description
Our client, a well-established plaintiff personal injury law firm, is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of plaintiff's personal injury pre-litigation experience. They place greater value on the quality of a candidate's experience, litigation skills, judgment, and overall fit with the team.
Position: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney – Pre-Litigation
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $95,000 - $185,000 (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a plaintiff's personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through settlement.
- Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
- Review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.
- Develop case strategies to maximize client outcomes.
- Prepare demand packages and oversee all aspects of pre-litigation case management.
- Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case handling.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- 1-10 years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
