Job Description
Manufacturing company that has been in business for over 80 years has an immediate need for a Customer Service Order Processor
Job Responsibilities:
• Receives and processes routine customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered.
• Answer telephone inquiries, phone orders and misdirected calls with a smile in your voice with every call. Inquiries require investigation and critical thinking skills, and CSR must maintain a sense of urgency and sense of ownership of the issue/inquiry. Pro-active approach when callers inquire about products, services and MSDS requests. Able to funnel leads through to proper channels for follow up.
• Provide timely and courteous customer service to reduce customer service issues
• Accurate order entry of orders spanning multiple markets, pricing structures and diverse company requirements. Ability to master market-centric distribution base, while maintaining basic knowledge of other markets.
• Provide back-up duties for others within department, offer assistance during down-time and be an overall team player.
• Maintain daily reports to ensure orders are shipping within departmental goals.
• Maintain SharePoint database for inquiries and assist with proactive calls using Access database.
Job requirements
• Use and knowledge of JD Edwards, SharePoint, and Microsoft Access a plus
• Excellent Written and Verbal Skills
• Able to handle a fast past environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Sense of urgency, teamwork, and strong work ethic
