Job Description
Established credit union is looking for a Mascot to join their team .
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The mascot will consistently be active and engaging to fans of all ages. The mascot is a strong representative of brand and image. elevates the community with strong community partners, free financial education, and more. The performer will engage in these activities and will constantly be moving and will need to display certain characteristics during their performance as the mascot.
TYPICAL DUTIES
Gets along well with people of all ages, especially with children. Accordingly, he/she must be gentle and patient in manner, representing the brand in a positive, uncompromising manner.
Provides the fans with a lasting positive impression
Has a suitable personality
Develops routines that leave the fans wanting more
The mascot is nonspeaking, which requires the performer’s act to be conveyed through body language and action only
Maintain and understand compliance to ensure that work complies with Companies established policies, procedures and applicable regulations, to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Member Identification Program (MIP), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).
Other duties as may be assigned or required in connection with the general operation of the credit union.
CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS The performer’s physical suitability for the role will be very important, as the performer will consistently be moving and active for long, sustained moments at a time. This includes having the correct stature to wear the costume and being in good physical condition, being able to withstand the weight and the heat of wearing the costume. The weight of the full costume is approximately 25 lbs. or less.
The costume has been designed to be active and mobile to allow performer to showcase the abilities of the mascot.
Additional information
Optimal Performer will have handler accompany them at all times to assist with crowds and interactions.
The hourly rate is $25/hr to include a monthly retainer of $375.
Must have a flexible schedule
