Marketing Communications Manager
Job Description
After a 90-day introductory period, this role offers hybrid flexibility.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the firm's internal and external communications strategy.
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, blogs, website content, social media posts, and other marketing materials.
- Identify media opportunities and assist with attorney thought leadership initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate content across multiple practice groups while balancing competing deadlines.
- Create firm announcements highlighting awards, speaking engagements, case successes, and other news.
- Oversee internal communications, including firmwide newsletters and announcements.
- Coordinate attorney award submissions and legal rankings, including collaboration on Chambers USA submissions.
- Monitor legal and business news to identify opportunities for media outreach and client-facing content.
- Partner closely with attorneys and firm leadership to strengthen brand awareness and visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing communications experience within a law firm, professional services, or media environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience creating content across multiple marketing channels, including digital, social media, and print.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, or Photoshop is a plus.
- Must reside in the Dallas area. No relocation assistance or fully remote option is available.
- Competitive salary of $110,000–$115,000
