Maintenance Manager
Central/West Missouri - Up to $130k
A rapidly growing advanced manufacturing and engineering company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across a highly automated industrial manufacturing environment. This role will oversee both strategic and day-to-day maintenance activities supporting a wide range of production equipment and high-precision manufacturing technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong maintenance leadership experience within industrial manufacturing environments and a background supporting CNC machinery, fabrication equipment, robotics, and reliability-focused maintenance programs.
Position Responsibilities
• Lead daily activities of the maintenance team across multiple production areas
• Plan and coordinate equipment downtime, maintenance scope, labor, and parts requirements
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs utilizing CMMS systems
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair efforts involving CNC equipment, fabrication machinery, robotics, furnaces, grinding equipment, EDMs, and related industrial systems
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgeting activities
• Maintain vendor and OEM relationships to support maintenance operations and equipment reliability
• Ensure maintenance personnel are properly trained and operating safely and effectively
• Establish and track maintenance KPIs, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
• Experience with reliability maintenance and preventative maintenance programs
• Strong understanding of industrial safety, environmental, and maintenance standards
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience implementing or improving TPM/reliability programs
• Experience supporting high-precision manufacturing equipment and automated machinery
• Reliability or TPM certifications are a plus
