Maintenance Associate - 2nd Shift
Job Description
Location: Sugar Land, TX Length: Temp-to-Hire preferred, but will consider direct hire for someone currently working
Pay Rate: OPEN ON PAY RATE depending on experience and recent pay history
Hours: 2nd shift schedule working Monday through Friday from 3:30p - 12:00a with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks - NO overtime
*** While this is a 2nd shift position, this person MUST be able to train, during 1st shift hours, for 2-3 weeks, from 7:00a - 3:30p
Additional Details:
- Candidate MUST have consistent attendance and show up to work ON TIME

- Seeking a minimum of 5-10 years of recent experience in a similar role

Summary: This critical role will coordinate activities with refinishing production to meet all specification and quality requirements. This role will be responsible for the control and operate the Maintenance/ Electrical equipment.
Objective: To maintain, rebuild, and repair machinery and fabricate and weld equipment and parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot plant machinery as assigned
2. Maintain, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment
3. Work with Engineering to design, select, modify, and/or adapt equipment or procedures to specific project requirements
4. Attention to detail
Requirements / Qualifications:
1. Ability to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment. Formal chronic training on AC/DC circuits
2. Working knowledge and use of safe work practices including Lock Out – Tag out NFPA
3. Should have a thorough knowledge of mechanical-related production equipment
4. Can follow manufacturing/equipment specifications
5. Perform basic math calculations
6. A journeyman Electrician License
7. Knowledge of HVAC
8. Should work well with others and have communication and interpersonal skills
9. Perform preventive maintenance as directed by equipment schedule
10. Perform simple welding, plumbing, and machining
11. Test, calibrate, and repair electronic mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to establish standards, and assist in formulating calibration standards
