Job Description

Company located in northeast El Paso is looking for a Machine Operator/Packer.

Job Description:
  • Understand quality and shipping within company specifications, goals, and objectives.
  • Audit work orders to ensure quality and production requirements have been met.
  • Make decisions on the best methods for packaging various customized materials.
  • Package finished materials safely and securely to prevent damage in transit.
  • Utilize a computer to generate shipping labels and packing slips for each shipment.
  • Lift and manually transport materials and packages to designated skids and carts.
  • Coordinate with Shipping Manager and Outbound Freight Handler for outbound freight scheduling.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Have an understanding of how to work with a team.
  • Must possess basic computer operation skills.
  • Basic understanding of PC operations.
  • Ability to read a work order.
  • Some experience in shipping.
  • Ability to complete basic mathematical problems.
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Required PPE:
  • Steel toe or composite toed boots. 

Working hours are 7 to 4 Monday to Friday possible Saturday and Sundays
$15/hr.
Position could become full time with the company.
