We are seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Associate to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Take and defend depositions, effectively representing our clients' interests.
- Attend court hearings and assist with trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and strategy.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 3+ years of litigation experience in business law and/or construction law and/or insurance defense.
- Proven experience in drafting legal documents and managing litigation processes.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the firm.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Regan graduated from Texas Tech University in 2003 with her Bachelor’s in Marketing. She then went to graduate school at St. Thomas University, where she received her MBA. She started working for Burnett in June 2005 in Houston.

In this role, she was the liaison between the client and each specialty division to ensure the highest quality customer service and proven results. In 2010, Regan moved into a direct-hire recruiter role. She has been successful in filling all different types of positions for clients across several industries. In 2013, her husband’s job transferred them to Dallas, and she is now a Sr. Direct-Hire Recruiter for Choice Specialists in Dallas, Texas. She enjoys what she does and is passionate about helping candidates and companies grow!
