Patent Prosecution Paralegal
Job Description
JOB DUTIES
- Assisting with the filing and prosecution of U. S. patent applications
- Audit and manage portfolios to ensure patent applications comply with the patent prosecution process
- Assist with internal review and analyzation of documents
- Conduct research, monitor deadlines, draft responses to office actions, and provide general administrative support to attorneys
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of patent prosecution paralegal experience
- Long-term paralegal experience within a law firm setting
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; team player
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)
- Strong technical skills required; formal technical training is a plus
