Billing Specialist (Elite 3E / Aderant Required)
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join its Dallas office. This role is responsible for managing the full billing cycle, working closely with attorneys and internal accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing in accordance with client guidelines.
Position Overview
This is a fast-paced, high-volume billing role within a collaborative and well-established accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong law firm billing experience and hands-on experience with Elite 3E and/or Aderant systems.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle billing, including prebills/proformas, invoice review, and submission

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of client invoices in accordance with billing guidelines

Handle electronic billing (e-billing) and resolve invoice rejections or discrepancies

Partner with attorneys and internal teams to address billing inquiries and issues

Generate reports and assist with financial tracking and analysis

Maintain compliance with client Outside Counsel Guidelines
Qualifications
-
3+ years of legal billing experience in a mid-to-large law firm (BigLaw preferred)

Elite 3E and/or Aderant experience REQUIRED

Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

Experience with e-billing platforms and client billing guidelines

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Additional Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Dallas: 100% in-office (no remote)

Overtime may be required during peak periods
