Litigation Legal Assistant
Job Description
A Dallas law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. This role will support up to five busy attorneys in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities

Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys in a high-volume practice

Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
-
Coordinate and file documents in state and federal courts (e-filing)
-
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case files
-
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and court filings
-
Create and format documents using Styles, Tables of Contents, and Tables of Authorities
-
Communicate with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
Requirements
-
5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a mid-sized or large law firm
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
-
Experience with state and federal e-filing
-
Strong document formatting skills including Styles, Table of Contents, and Table of Authorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong proofreading, organizational, and multitasking abilities
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Availability for overtime as needed
