Job Description

Our client, a well-established law firm in Plano, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support two attorneys. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is looking for a long-term career with outstanding benefits and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and legal support to two attorneys
  • Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and mediators
  • Coordinate settlement conferences, mediations, and depositions
  • Prepare, file, and e-file legal documents and pleadings
  • Manage attorney calendars, docket control orders, and critical deadlines
  • Prepare correspondence and monthly matter status reports
  • Answer and route incoming calls while providing exceptional client service

Qualifications
  • Previous legal assistant experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Experience with e-filing and litigation support is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
