A prominent Dallas law firm is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant/Paralegal to provide exceptional support to three Partners in their Labor & Employment practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to impactful legal work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments efficiently.
  • Prepare and review legal documents with precision.
  • File documents in various state and federal courts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and court personnel.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw.
  • Track matters and maintain timely reminders for deadlines.
  • Oversee proactive case file management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure continuity of service.
  • Assist in trial and hearing preparation, ensuring all materials are ready.
  • Coordinate deposition notices and manage related logistics.
  • Monitor and calendar critical deadlines to support case progression.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Labor & Employment law preferred, though candidates with a background in commercial litigation are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach.
