Lead Process Engineer - Pennsylvania

 
  • SMR design experience:  8+ years is the target but may consider less
  • Experience with P&ID development
  • Experience with solutions and preparing Process estimates for project and product development
  • Experience with process simulations. Ask candidates to explain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
  • 10 years of Hydrogen related design experience related to Steam Methane
  • Reformers and related technologies.  Please have candidates explain.
  • 7Can  read, understand and develop P&IDs. Please ask candidates to explain.
  • Experience with Process Technology functions (e.g., Process Safety, Process Systems, Process Controls, Commissioning and Start-Up)
  • Proficient with Aspen or similar simulation programs

 
Work for a leading Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for a Lead Process Engineer to join our Process Technology team. Located on-site in Allentown, PA, company will relocate, no sponsorship opportunities for this role.   The Process Engineering team provides engineering support for our line of productized plants including Adsorption Separation Plants, Ammonia Cracking Plants, Electrolysis Plants and Steam Methane Reforming Plants. Our business supports customers in a diverse range of industries including hydrogen for mobility, metals processing, glass manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, foods processing, electronics, and chemical and petrochemical manufacturing to name a few.

You will execute projects in all regions of the globe. As a result, we ask that you be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as needed. Travel duration is typically one to two weeks. Travel requirements are typically 15% or less per year with an effort to maintain a healthy work life balance.
