Burnett is so excited to be partnering with a Texas leader in service-industry uniforms! They have an immediate need for a Jr. Sales Associate that can target the South Austin/Buda/Kyle territory. This is an amazing stair-step role into a full Outside Sales position! It is an opportunity to partner with a Sr. Rep and assist them in setting appointments, prospecting and growing the territory. This will allow the Jr. candidate to learn the business, develop successful sales skills and be able to transition easily into a full rep role without the "sink or swim" pressure. The ideal candidate will be hungry and driven, self-motivated and thrive in an active, field-based role. This role will work primarily out of their vehicle/on their cell, with a primary emphasis on "business-to-business door knocking" to generate appointments for the Sr. Sales Rep. The role demands cold-calling, meeting prospective clients and establishing new in-person connections daily. The ideal candidate will have a "hunter" mentality with outside sales interest who is ready to actively prospect and generate leads in the field. The Jr. Sales Rep will work daily with the Sr. Rep as a team to strategize, set daily plans and follow up on prospects. 

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Prospecting Process and set qualified 1st Time Appointments for the Sales Representatives to increase weekly rental sales. 
  • Research to find new prospects using a variety of tools such as data.com, internet, trade publications, association meetings, and other appropriate methods etc.
  • Cold Call businesses in person to gather information and set appointments
  • Phone Call on businesses to gather information and set appointments
  • Qualify Prospects to meet the selling requirements of the company
  • Analyze Potential Prospects to set up qualified Selling Opportunities
  • Prepare and Present Grabber Statements to create interest
  • Handle Objections
  • Create emblem and logo mat artwork for proof requests
  • Create and Complete 1st Time Meeting folders including relevant research
  • Communicate appointments to Sales Representatives
  • Confirm appointments with prospective customers
2. Maintain timely and accurate information in Salesforce
  • Prospect, Contact, Account and Opportunity details
  • Information from prospecting and research
  • Information from qualifying and cold calling
  • Information from phone calls and selling activities
  • Calendar Management
3. Accurately measure employees using proper sizing kits
4. Safely drive a personal vehicle to appointments, cold calls, employee sizings, etc.
5. Establish and maintain a professional company image through proper sales techniques, marketing efforts & customer relations, while modeling the values of the company
6. Attend and participate in Company, Department and team meetings

Job Requirements:
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current insurance
  • 1+ years of strong “Prospecting Skills” including researching, prospecting, qualifying, identifying prospects needs, presenting, handling objections, and negotiating
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Effective Time and Territory Management Skills
  • Computer Knowledge and skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Honesty, and provides respect to others

Salary/Benefits/Allowances/Hours/etc:
  • Base salary: $47,5000 + commission (Typical first year On-Target Earnings $60K)
  • Annual transportation car allowance: $7,500
  • Eligible for health, dental, and vision after 60 days
  • Paid holidays and sick days
  • Provided: Laptop, cellphone, and attire
  • Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Initial training will be in San Antonio (travel/hotel covered)
