Job Description

Jr. Financial Analyst The Jr. financial analyst will be primarily responsible for analyzing financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support. Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting.   • Elaborate board presentations and analysis for upper management.
  • Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions to make informed investment decisions.
  • Strategize ways to grow business and reach financial objectives of the company.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
  • Perform audits to related companies.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policy and procedures.
  • Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends.
  • PERFORMS ANY OTHER TASK ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:

  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and practices, including established safety practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel Formulas & Functions, Pivot Tables,
  • Charting. Proficient in Think-Cell (add of Microsoft Power Point) and Microsoft Business Central or familiar.
  • High proficiency with financial modeling and techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of progressive experience in reporting, consolidating and financial analysis.
  • Experience in retail/food & beverage industry a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluent (speak, read, write)
