Job Description
Seeking an Investor Relations Manager for a 6 month contract only position located in The Woodlands, Texas (no relocation offered)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Investor Relations Manager is responsible for developing communication strategy and managing the development of corporate communications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work in close collaboration with a broad range of internal partners including Human Resources, Investor Relations, Community Relations, Legal, Information Technology, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
• Partner with Investor Relations to support investor/financial media relations (i.e., press releases, scripts, slides) and investor meetings/events, as well as assisting in the preparation of the annual report and other associated investor communications.
• Execution of sustainability program and support the Company’s annual sustainability reporting process.
• Manage, with support of internal content owners, the external company website, and the development and execution of a social media communication strategy (for all audiences).
• Serve as trusted communications advisor to the CEO and other company executives. Prepare speeches and talking points as needed for external communication.
• Draft and distribute press releases and social media content, ensuring compliance with disclosure and comment policies.
• Manage external communications and public relations resources.
• Lead the development and implementation of crisis response communications, if/as needed, from messaging through communication response and media coverage/management.
Requirements
• B.S. in Finance, Journalism, English or a similar discipline is required.
• 10+ years corporate communications/ public affairs experience.
• Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word abilities.
