Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor, control, and optimize inventory levels to minimize shortages and overstock situations. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or other designated software platforms.
- Receiving and Inspection: Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments. Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of items received against purchase orders.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with various departments to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. Prepare and pack items for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfillment metrics. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all inventory-related activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs related to inventory management.
- Proven experience in inventory management within the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to oil and gas products.
