Our client, a regional firm with offices in Houston, is looking for an Insurance Defense Associate.
Job Description/Details
- Looking for an associate to work on insurance coverage matters (bad faith claims) as well as insurance defense matters (hurricane damage docket and constructions defect)
- This role has a strong opportunity for growth (partner track)
- Someone who was top 20%-30% of their law school class and has some litigation experience (if was in other practice areas, that’s fine).
- Someone who is willing to learn this area of law and can take direction.
- Be able to jump in and take depositions and argue motions in court
- Will handle some hearings & site inspections and maybe take a depo or EUO if needed.
Salary: $130k-$140k Bonuses are $15k-$25k annually.
Experience Level: 2-3 years
Billable Requirement: 2000 hours a year
Schedule: 100% in office with flexibility
Benefits: Full benefits offered plus profit sharing, 401(k), bar dues CLE's, etc.)
