Job Description
INDUSTRIAL HVAC COMPANY IN NORTHWEST HOUSTON HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN INDUSTRIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain and repair industrial HVAC equipment for a variety of domestic and international customers. Types of equipment/systems include but is not limited to: DX package units and split systems, chillers- air and water-cooled condensers, pressurization units, exhaust fans/systems, chemical filtration units, relay and PLC controls. Sizes ranging from 2 to 200+ tons
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, determine corrective actions, and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting unit operation/performance. This includes ensuring that the work conducted fully addresses the issues at hand, and the equipment is brought back to manufacturer’s design parameters
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, determine corrective actions, and repair duct mounted devices such as heaters, fire dampers, sensors, etc.
• Communicate with customers regarding findings, proposed solutions, timing of repair, and project status
• Perform traditional preventative maintenance tasks as required/requested
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle and maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following OSHA and site-specific safety standards and procedures per service location
• Completes assigned tasks within the allotted hours with minimum to no rework
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Be available to work nights or weekends to support clients’ demands
• Operates forklift to transport supplies and equipment
• And all other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge Required
• Five plus years’ experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diverse industrial HVAC equipment and associated issues
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC
• Offshore service/project experience
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record Certification Required • Universal EPA Certification
• Basic Plus issued by HASC or ISTC
• TWIC Card
• HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training)
• Applicable Offshore certification
