Job Description

The HR Shared Services Manager leads the HR service center, driving engagement, productivity, and exceptional service levels. They excel as a motivating leader, fostering high performance within their team. With a focus on process improvement and technology utilization, they ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining quality. Collaboration is key, as they build strong relationships with HR teams, listen to feedback, and implement necessary changes.

Responsibilities of the HR Shared Services Manager:
  • Build and retain a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional service across the employment lifecycle.
  • Standardize process improvements in collaboration with leaders, focusing on onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
  • Ensure third-party vendors meet service level agreements for HR processes.
  • Provide comprehensive training and cross-training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Implement quality control measures and document internal procedures for review processes.
  • Drive outstanding service levels and contribute ideas for improving the employee experience.
  • Analyze data to track performance metrics and reconcile relevant data.
  • Handle escalated or sensitive requests and issues.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team for advanced reporting requests and system improvements.
Qualifications of the HR Shared Services Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with 2+ years in a customer service environment preferred.
  • Experience with HR system integrations and change management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR operations management, with a focus on process standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns for informed decision-making.
