Job Description
Location: West Houston/Energy Corridor Length: Temporary role with potential to go perm for the right person!
Hours: Monday through Friday from 8a – 5p
Pay Rate: $18/hr.

- Attendance and punctuality are a must and expected by team members.
- This is a diverse group of construction industry professionals.The potential candidate(s) should not be of one to take themselves too seriously, nor offend easily.
- There are days when this position allows for much more flexibility than others, more down time is available, or to become bored; or on the contrary, turn to full speed ahead for the entire 8+ hours. This depends on what is going on within the industry, within the group, or within the office in general.
- We would like this team member to grow professionally as well. Our ask is that we seek out a potential candidate who wants to grow roots in a solid company that has been around for many years and continues to become successful.
- This person will make it a priority to work harmoniously with individuals while maintaining a commitment of professionalism.
- Must have a performance history that demonstrates proven practices in administrative processes and procedures, including strong leadership, organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills.
- Welcome Visitors by greeting them, in person or on the phone.
- Communicating in a positive and effective manner with staff, vendors, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Answer all phone calls and transfer them appropriately.
- Distribute all incoming mail/packages and prepare all outgoing mail.
- Scheduling of meetings and conference room(s).
- Ensure that common areas are organized, clean and operational; front desk area, conference rooms, kitchen area, common workstation area, and I.T. and storage closets.
- Ordering, distributing, and keeping an inventory of office supplies, kitchen needs, and maintenance of supplies.
- Order breakfast/ lunch when needed.
- Assist with booking travel arrangements for employees, if and where needed.
- Assist with planning office events/outings.
- Act as the point of contact for all office maintenance issues; distribute suites key fobs and building access.
- Assist with coordinating office interviews during recruiting season(s).
- Assist with coordinating materials needed for recruiters when on-campus visits are required.
- Assist with New Hire materials to include backpack fillers, laptops/iPads, safety gear, office fobs, etc.
- Additional duties may be assigned as level of ability is indicated.
- Must be able to maintain a Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule = 40-hour work week

- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of technology (i.e., computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Multi-line phone system, .PDF platform(s), General Office Equipment such as copier/scanner, etc.)
- Attend training with other administrative professionals within the company as needed via Teams meeting or in-person, if applicable
