A dynamic, high-growth company in the Galleria area is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business success by providing advanced financial analysis and modeling to support sales and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have financial modeling experience, a bachelor’s degree in finance or economics, and at least 2 years of experience in a finance-related role. Financial Analyst Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual operating reports
  • Reconcile transactions on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting as necessary
  • Effectively works independently & within a team environment.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance operational finance reports, analytical tools, and self-service capabilities in collaboration with IT to drive efficiency for operational finance and support operational decision-making.
  • Builds detailed analysis and reports utilizing Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Access.
  • Establishes recommendations and conclusions based on analysis of data with some direction.

Financial Analyst Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with quantitative analysis
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency (PIVOT TABLES, MACROS, INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.). SQL Experience a plus.
  • Must have strong initiative and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work with large sets of data and heavy work volume
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent follow-through and proactive work style
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidential data
  • Flexibility to work extra hours when needed
  • Self-starter, who has intellectual curiosity, shows initiative and is capable of driving a project from start to finish.
