Location: Brookshire area located near HWY 90/Pederson Rd.
Length: Direct Hire
Salary: $90K
Details:
Security
- Develop and maintain security SOP
- Manage and evaluate 3rd party security vendors performance and SOP
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate 3rd party contracts
Perimeter Security
- Ensure signage is correct and protects company to full extent of the law
- Ensure fencing and gate systems are operational and sufficient
- Manage locks and locks inventory, etc.
- Examine and advise on current perimeter security and upgrades
- Evaluate that proper illumination is working as expected
- Ensure lights timers are accurate with season changes
Outside Threat Assessment
- Stay current to outside local threats that company may need to be protected
- Liaise with local law enforcement as necessary
- Respond to any outside threat that gains unauthorized access in a timely manner
Interior Security
- Ensure all systems are up to management’s required standards
- Ensure proper maintenance and compliance of camera surveillance (verify, inspect cameras are working and re-name, add, relocate cameras and maintain updated camera location drawing/map as necessary), fire protection, intrusion, access control, panic buttons, and intercom systems
- Examine, audit existing systems and make suggestions
- Examine and advise on current interior security standards and practices and suggest upgrades
- Work with management, IT, and engineering groups to achieve above
- Propose ideas, changes, and upgrades
Personnel Security/Access Control
- Manage current personnel security systems
- Add new hires and remove terminated personnel in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot credentialed employees access issues
- Investigate and communicate security threats and breaches
Building Maintenance
- Maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, and contracts
- Maintain preventative maintenance for all doors and physical security hardware
- Man doors, screens, levelers, roll up doors, fast acting doors, etc.
- Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions
- Develop or manage current PM’s and manage 3rd party contractors who enter to do work on exterior systems of the property
Systems Maintenance
- Ensure AC systems, electrical systems, up and running
- Support and backup to IT managing IT related systems contractors
Flags
- System owner of flag
- Inventory, repairs, maintenance – Main pole/smaller poles
- Responsible for flags management
- Light fixtures working properly per codes
- Remove before storms
- Fold, clean, repair as necessary
- Flower beds, floor tiles are in good condition
Standards Compliance and Auditing
- Ensuring all SOP’s followed by 3rd party security staff for inbound deliveries
- Ensuring all SOP’s followed by 3rd party security for outbound and pick up of orders
- Gain C-TPAT Certification
- Audit standards and practices and suggest necessary and or advisable changes to existing SOP’s
- Maintain and keep all current SOP’s in and outbounds
