Events Marketing Manager - Remote

A renewable natural gas non-profit association is actively seeking an experienced Events Marketing Manager to add to their team! The Events Marketing Manager for this non-profit organization plays a crucial role in planning, implementing, and promoting events that support their mission and fundraising initiatives. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive event marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, attract supporters, and drive participation. Job Details and Responsibilities:
  • This role is 100% remote (prefers California residence) 
  • Travel to hosted conventions & events across the country 4-5 times per year.
  • Responsible for coordinating and executing event specific marketing, including graphic design themes and concepts for in-house and out of house kits for signs, exhibits, speaker presentation templates, merchandise/swag, lanyards, badges, event specific social media accounts and event webpage(s)
  • Use of event specific and coalition brand assets consistent with brand guidelines for all other event related advertising, announcements, program design and promotions; hospitality items for event attendees, VIP gifts, pop-up shop.
  • Develop and implement event marketing strategies aligned with the organization's mission and fundraising goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, logistics, budgeting, and timelines.
  • Develop strategies to maximize donor engagement and contributions during events.
  • Engage with the community to increase awareness of the organization's mission and events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and potential event sponsors.
  • Create compelling event marketing collateral that highlights the organization's impact and motivates supporters to participate.
  • Ensure all promotional materials align with the organization's brand and messaging.
  • Utilize digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and online platforms, to promote events and engage the target audience.
  • Create and manage event-specific online campaigns to drive attendance and participation.
  • Implement strategies to engage donors and volunteers before, during, and after events.
  • Develop programs or initiatives to recognize and appreciate the contributions of supporters.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide post-event reports to assess the impact and effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage budgets for individual events, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximum impact. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event marketing, preferably within a non-profit environment.
  • Understanding of non-profit fundraising principles and strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on detail and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Passion for the organization's mission and values.
