The position will be responsible for creating cost estimates and writing proposals for new construction opportunities.  The most qualified candidate will analyze data and perform material takeoffs to create detailed estimates and proposals. You will be expected to review plans and project specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness. A successful individual in this role will work in a fast-paced environment that can quickly analyze and review project data to formulate an accurate estimate and proposal. This position requires a self-directed, organized, forward thinking, service minded, and energetic person who is results-driven and is capable of professional and detailed follow through.



  • Reviews project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate and proposal.
  • Prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoff scope of work
  • Maintain trust with internal clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain skills for software tools and technology utilized by position and within department.
  • Assist with making phone calls, securing bids, and preparing/submitting proposals and documents as needed.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and technical proposals.
  • Maintain CRM database of assigned leads, opportunities, quote, and orders.
  • Proactively schedule and manage daily & weekly activities on calendar.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of  3+ years of estimating for General Contractors or Other Construction type companies.
  • Proven track record of professional success of meeting and exceeding goals.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems, and other software programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with a willingness to communicate extensively.
  • Basic or general knowledge of and enthusiasm towards fall safety requirements, methods, and products.
  • Ability to read and comprehend contracts, building drawings, and technical documents.
  • Ability to recognize and take measurements, then convey that information to other stakeholders.
  • High level ability to produce comprehensive, organized, detailed, well-written documents.
