Quality Engineer – Gas Turbine Manufacturing
Sedalia, MO | Relocation Assistance Available-Onsite 5 days a week
$100K–$115K Base Salary
We are partnering with a growing leader in the aeroderivative gas turbine industry that is expanding its manufacturing operations and looking to add a Quality Engineer to support new manufacturing and machining operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a manufacturing environment and wants to work closely with engineering, operations, machining teams, and supplier quality to drive process improvements, reduce defects, and support high-performance turbine manufacturing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support manufacturing and machining quality operations on the shop floor
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams to resolve quality issues
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA/CAPA)
- Manage NCR activity and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support ISO 9001 and internal QMS compliance
- Work cross-functionally with suppliers, engineering, and production teams
- Help improve process capability, manufacturing quality, and operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing or machining environments
- Experience with ISO 9001, NCRs, RCA/CAPA, and quality systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machining operations
- Gas turbine, aerospace, rotating equipment, or heavy manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Strong target backgrounds include:
- Gas turbines
- Aerospace
- Oil & Gas manufacturing
- Precision machining
- Heavy industrial manufacturing
