JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Energy Engineering Specialist will prepare documentation related to energy efficient building incentives (179D and 45L). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform energy efficiency analyses using DOE approved building design and analysis software programs.
- Conduct interviews with client personnel and conduct onsite visits as needed.
- Request and review information / documentation needed to complete energy evaluations.
- Review constructions drawings, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing specifications, field notes and photographs to complete efficiency evaluations.
- Assist with quality assurance, engagement review and tax authority examination support.
- Organize documentation to create final deliverables for clients.
- 3-5 years 179D and 45L energy modeling experience required.
- 3-5 years energy modeling software experience required.
