Energy Data Portfolio Analyst - Houston, TX 77002
Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate allocation data receipt and resolution of issues
Support integration in North America power markets, including contract implementation and compliance with market rules
Manage REC settlement process and reporting requirements
Reconcile affiliated contracts and book actualization in trading system
Monitor and report P&L impact and key performance measures
Collaborate with Trading Systems and IT for system development and testing
Stay updated on power market trends and assess their impact on data management
Provide operational support to power operators and traders
Validate accuracy of settlement documents and record transactions in ETRM system
Prepare netback settlements and ensure contractual costs are maintained
Assist Accounting team with aged debt reporting and accrual analysis
Maintain strong relationships with producers, gatherers, and downstream pipelines Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders
Purpose: The Energy Data Portfolio Analyst is responsible for standardizing data across systems and ensuring seamless implementation. They also handle reconciliation, P&L explanation, and invoiceable deals in coordination with various departments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Energy
2-3 years of experience in Gas and Power markets with strong data analysis
Familiarity with North America power industry Proficiency in Alteryx, Python, and Power BI
Strong analytical skills in energy markets and economics
Team player with effective communication and organizational abilities
