Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience)
Are you an Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovation, systems integration, and building meaningful solutions? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer II to join our team building highly customized emergency and specialty vehicles that help save lives.
This is a hands-on engineering role that blends design, production support, and project leadership. You'll play a key part in modernizing our electrical systems, improving product performance, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, vendors, and operations teams.
What You’ll Do:

Design, develop, and test electrical systems for custom vehicle platforms

Lead integration of new technologies and components

Support production operations with install sequencing and troubleshooting

Maintain accurate electrical documentation (specs, drawings, BOMs)

Serve as project engineer on electrical system development and testing

Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and certification engineers

Research and apply innovative solutions for better durability and manufacturability

Contribute to ERP/MRP system integration and documentation workflows

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)

2–4 years of related engineering experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD-Electrical

Hands-on experience with design-for-manufacturing practices

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and technical documentation

Ability to lead and manage multi-phase projects

Strong collaboration skills across disciplines and departments

A related technical degree with 5+ years of progressive experience

Background in custom vehicle or specialty equipment production

Exposure to systems like UKG or similar HRIS
