Job Description

The Distribution Supervisor will manage daily warehouse operations, focusing on improving on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and process efficiency. This role involves supervising staff, implementing process improvements, and maintaining safety and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations to ensure on-time delivery of parts for production, repairs, and shipments.
  • Train and oversee employees in receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and inventory processes, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Identify and implement process improvements with proper documentation and staff training.
  • Monitor dashboards and KPIs to track work priorities, inventory accuracy, and team performance.
  • Lead the annual physical inventory process, coordinating preparation, training, and supporting audits.
  • Address and resolve material issues on the production line or in service departments.
  • Conduct daily team huddles, clarify priorities, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR on staffing decisions, including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain clean, organized workspaces following Lean 6S principles.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and stock pickers as needed to support warehouse functions.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams of 5 or more.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Experience with forklift trucks and stock pickers; clean driving record.
