Job Description
A law firm in Dallas is seeking an experienced corporate and real estate legal assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal assistant/secretarial experience in a mid to large law firm transactional practice. Familiarity with real estate documents such as purchase contracts, loan documents, and conveyance deeds, and with corporate documents such as company agreements, partnership agreements, bylaws, and written consent resolutions is required.
Duties include calendaring, client communication, entering time, proofreading, preparing legal documents for review, and other administrative tasks. Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and with e-recording and e-filing documents with the Texas Secretary of State and various county and court clerks. Ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a team-player mentality, and excellent organizational skills.
