A prestigious West Houston Law Firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with 2–10 years of litigation experience to join their team in Houston. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an attorney who is confident managing litigation matters and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position is 100% in-office and offers strong compensation based on experience.
CIVIL LITIGATION ATTORNEY 
Location: West Houston, TX (In-Office | 100% Onsite)
Compensation: $110,000 – $200,000 (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 100% in-office

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents

  • Take and defend depositions and participate in mediation and settlement negotiations

  • Prepare for and attend hearings, court appearances, and trial proceedings

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic case analysis and recommendations

  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate with partners and litigation support staff to drive case progress and results
Qualifications

  • 2–10 years of litigation experience required

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar

  • Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

  • Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities

  • Professional, proactive, and comfortable working fully onsite
