Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Resolve vendor/contractor grievances and supplier claims.
- Process and maintain purchase orders according to vendor schedules.
- Produce and manage purchasing correspondence related to purchase order requirements.
- Process orders and prepare quotes via phone, email, and fax.
- Review large contracts before requisitions are entered into the system.
- Coordinate scheduling and delivery activities between customers and vendors.
- Enter purchasing information and related data into the Syteline database.
- Maintain and retain assigned vendor files.

- Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of transportation methods and logistics, including air, rail, sea, and road freight.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce professional correspondence in a timely manner.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and filing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of MRP systems and Syteline ERP.
- Experience working with domestic and international customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
